About Us
Elite Cyber Security Ltd was founded by Neil Kell following a period of some 15 years working as Director of Evolve Business Consultancy and latterly Evolve Secure Solutions.
Neil is one of the UK’s leading Cyber Security professionals. He was one of the first consultants in the country to achieve NCSC’s highest ‘certified professional’ (CCP) grading of ‘Lead Practitioner’. Following achievement of this status, Neil led one of the first consultancy companies to achieve NCSC’s Certified Cyber Security Consultancy status. He was awarded fellowship of the Institute of Consultancy in recognition of his strategic security consultancy work across the public sector over the past 20 years. Neil operates at the leading edge of the Cyber Security industry and has been responsible for many public sector ‘firsts’ including the first central government ISO27001 certification, enabling the first NHS core service to be delivered securely from a public cloud platform and the development of a bespoke risk assessment methodology structured around NCSC’s 14 Cloud Security Principles. In the last 12 months, Neil has had approximately 15 articles published in IT and Cyber Security publications, many focussing on the future of Cyber Security.
Neil operates at the strategic level in organizations, ensuring that key security and governance obligations are met. He is experienced in the delivery of cyber security strategies, cloud security strategies, business cases for security investment, innovative approaches to risk assessment and policy development. He is a key strategic security resource for a number of government and commercial sector customers, acting on behalf of these organizations in negotiations with key policy setters such as Cabinet Office and sector supervisory authorities.
The creation of Elite has allowed Neil to move away from the distractions of operating in a large corporate environment and once again focus on his true passion, which is working directly with customers to overcome their Cyber Security challenges.
